About Arthur
Arthur Ircink is the Founder and Director of the 3 x Emmy Award winning PBS television series Wisconsin Foodie. Arthur and his crew have been traveling all corners of our great state for the past 15 years to share the incredible food stories from our own backyard while supporting and promoting a vibrant local food economy. Arthur is also the publisher of Edible Milwaukee Magazine. In 2017 Arthur was awarded 40 under 40 from the Milwaukee Business Journal.
Arthur and his family moved to Shorewood in 2014 because of the incredible school district, walkability, business community and proximity to Lake Michigan. In 2015 along with Tia Torhorst and Barb Hienen, Arthur helped create the popular Shorewood Farmers Market and continues to help operate the market every Sunday.
Arthur has enjoyed coaching his son through Shorewood Little League and also sits on the League’s board. In the winter when there is no baseball to be played, Arthur volunteers as an Ice Captain at the Lake Bluff Ice Rink, as well as coaches his son’s hockey team at Milwaukee Winter Club.
Arthur joined Shorewood’s Business Improvement District 2018, eventually serving as BID President. Through his work on the BID, he developed the Shorewood Feast. The Feast was created as a celebration of all things Shorewood and its incredible restaurants.
In 2020 Arthur was elected Trustee in the Village of Shorewood, WI. Arthur has been a fierce promoter of all things Shorewood and he looks to continue that into the future.
